    THE 5TH NIDA SUMMER CAMP, THAILAND 2016

    It is a great pleasure to inform you that National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Thailand will organize the 5th NIDA Summer Camp on "Innovative Tourism for Sustainable Development" which will be held from June 14-23, 2016 at NIDA Bangkok, Thailand. The activity is open for overseas and domestic students with any academic backgrounds The highlights of the program include a welcome reception party, academic sessions, Thai languange course, a field trip to Ayutthaya Province -the second capital of Thailand from 1351-1767, which is well known as one of the Thailand's historical sites. Last but not least, a farewell party will be held in Kanchanaburi Province where has many well-known historical sites, as well as hidden treasures in its jungles and mountainous terrain.

    For successful candidates, NIDA will provide services include accommodation, food and drink, local travel expenses, admission to all the activities, entrance fees, activity materials, and personal insurance. In addition to aforementioned benefits, participants will be responsible for paying their round-trip airfare.

    QUALIFICATIONS | REGISTRATION
    1. An applicant must be an undergraduate student studying in the third year or fourth year or a graduate student.
    2. An applicant must submit verification of undergraduate or graduate study including the most recent official transcript and a confirmation letter from your institute.
    3. An applicant must submit Curriculum Vitae
    4. An applicant must submit an essay -minimum 1,000 words- on the topic below:
    “Innovative ways towards achieving sustainable tourism development”
    5. An applicant must be able to speak English.
    6. An applicant must be in good health with no infectious or contagious disease.
    7. An applicant must prepare a national costume for a performance at a reception Party.
    8. Deadline for application submission is March 13, 2016.
    9. An applicant must send the registration form including required documents via Email address at nidasummercamp5@gmail.com and by airmail at 118 Seri Thai Road, Klong Chan, Bangkapi, Bangkok 10240 Thailand.
    10. Please scan all documents in to 1 file in PDF and save the name of your file in name of country and your name for example (Thailand.Chanokpan)
    11. An Applicant will be considered based on the quality of a written essay and personal academic record.
    12. Announcement of successful accepted applicants will be posted on April 5, 2016 at http://oia.nida.ac.th/
